Thrive Collective returned to John Dewey High School for the 2023-2024 school year to inaugurate its Project Pivot program with an integrated arts academy. Collaborating once again with our partners Projectivity and Speek Lyfe, we produced a 36-week, multimedia experience in three 12-week modules:
Podcasting students produced “What We Dewin’,” a fifteen episode podcast available on Youtube and Spotify.
RHYME students produced “Push Through, Follow through,” an original hip hop song and music video available on Youtube and Bandcamp.
Murals students produced “The John Dewey Student Is…” mural in the main entrance hallway.
